Generational Diversity Workshop
Clinton Valley Council will be hosting a Generational Diversity Workshop on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Oakland Schools from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Doug Krofina from the Center for Professional Development for the National Council, Boy Scouts of America will be teaching this free workshop that will cover the four generations that are in the workplace – and thus Scouting – now, their values, how they see the world, preferred communication techniques, and how this poses both challenges and opportunities in Scouting.

Eric Clark Promoted to Assistant Scout Executive in Heart of Ohio Council
It is with mixed emotions that I must announce my resignation as finance director of the Clinton Valley Council, BSA to accept the position of assistant Scout executive with the Heart of Ohio Council, BSA effective July 16, 2009. My last working day in the Clinton Valley Council Service Center will be Thursday, July 2, 2009.
Although I am pleased about my new career opportunity, I will sincerely miss the Scouting relationships that have developed over the past nine years in Clinton Valley Council. I would like to thank you very much for all of the outstanding support that you have provided to me personally and professionally.

National Council Raises Registrations Fees to $15.00 per year
The National Council Boy Scouts of America will raise annual registration fees from $10 per year to $15 per year effective January 1, 2010. This will be the first fee increase since 2003. This fee increase will affect all Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers and adult leaders. Exploring registration fees will remain at $10 per year.
As you are working on your unit budgets for the 2009-2010 program year, Clinton Valley Council recommends that you take this fee increase into account.
